Dublin singer-songwriter Keith O'Connell is currently recording his first solo album, which will be entitled, 'Genetic Lottery', due for completion soon. He has already released a 4-track EP which features songs from his forthcoming album. The EP, 'Midnight Sun', has been played nationally on many radio stations, including RTE Radio 1, 98fm and Waterford's WLRfm. Keith's music was featured recently on the 'Open Mike' on FM104, and also appeared on the 'Songs from the Suburbs' compilation CD, showcasing artists from the Dublin area. Keith studied music in Ballyfermot's Rock College in Dublin for two years and then proceeded to study music in Colaiste Stiofan Naofa in Cork for another year. Keith, now 28, has also completed the music performance course in Kylemore College and is now concentrating on recording and performing his original songs. He has played support to various artists including Aslan, Mickey Harte and Picturehouse. Keith describes his style of music as "catchy, melodic pop-rock", and in his live performances, he plays both keyboards and acoustic guitar to complement his songs
